Development of Giro & Cash
In order to bring the product Giro & Cash of the Kreissparkasse Esslingen-Nürtingen closer to the youth market, Storz Medienfabrik visualized the product with two characters: Giro and Cash. The concept, design and animation of the two characters were created by Storz Medienfabrik. According to the target group, the design of the facial features was based on the popular ascii emoticons. Since the introduction of Giro and Cash, the two have enjoyed great popularity. The transfer of this sympathy to other products was therefore an important strategic point and now, thanks to their success, the two also explain, for example, retirement provision. They appear on city cards, in advertising spots, in online videos and on print products.
